I would like to thank former Town of Milton Supervisor Lou Gnip for his kind words in a recent letter to the editor in the Ballston Journal.

Door-to-Door Kickoff

This weekend I began my door-to-door campaign for Milton Town Council by visiting over 100 Milton households.

I really enjoyed introducing myself and talking with people about the issues, my experience, and my vision for our town's future. I was humbled by the many pledges of support that I received for the September 15th primary.

I especially want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pastore for letting my son Jack use their restroom for an unscheduled pit-stop, and Mr. Liddell for retrieving my son Spencer's hat after he threw it out of his stroller. Thanks for the call!!

I'm looking forward to the rest of the summer and continuing my active "shoe leather" campaign. See you soon!

The Fair Comes To Town

You know it’s summer when the Saratoga County Fair comes to town! It’s something I look forward to every year and I can’t wait to go back this week.

I have a lot of great memories here, from the shows and exhibits to the midway and everything else that makes the fair such a great summer tradition. Working here as a kid on the grounds crew was probably one of the best jobs I ever had. And of course there’s the food…

I'll be at the fair all week, so please stop by and say hello.

I also want to wish my good friend Dick Rowland all the best on his retirement as general manager of the fairgrounds. Dick, congratulations on a job well done!
